I have the ability to work with great creativity and enthusiasm. My work involved bioprocess design (fermentation engineering), isolation and purification of protein metabolites, in vitro application and MIC determination, biochemical growth modeling, and the kinetic study of submerged fermentation. I have experience in extensive sample analysis and calibration/run of equipment like a bioreactor, FPLC, MALDI-MS, FPLC, HPLC, and FTIR spectroscopy in a laboratory. I also used to study advanced microscopic techniques, viz., confocal microscopy, SEM, AFM, and TEM, in order to evaluate ultrastructural changes. I have already published 7 peer reviewed research papers in SCI journals, 1 book and 1 book chapter (international publications), and attended several workshops and conferences at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT BHU. I am also the recipient of the “Young Scientist Award” & CSIR-SRTP mentorship award. I am a multifaceted lecturer with six years of expertise in teaching presentations to reach students of diverse backgrounds. I am an expert in leveraging in-depth knowledge and experience in core food biotechnology to provide relevant information and first-hand lab experiences. I am also known for my personable demeanor and strong work ethic.

It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to be a part of an Institution which has, in a matter of three years, become an essential component in the entire machinery of Jinnah Sindh Medical University. Dr. Ammar Mohammed Hamood AL-Farga is Associate Professor in Department of Biochemistry, University of Jeddah, KSA. He is working on process development for a novel food. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Jiangnan University Wuxi, China, where he worked on Physiochemical, Nutritional value and Antioxidant Characteristics of a novel food Alhydwan (Boerhavia elegana Choisy) Seed and its Application in some Food Products, the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award Nomination of China, 2016. His research focuses on development for novel foods in an attempt to discover more innovative foods of high nutraceutical values that can be used in other food product systems. He has published various papers (100) in high impact factor international journals and her work is very well cited by researcher's worldwide. He has Award of “Finding Future-star of Young Researchers Scheme”, 2016, He has also been awarded with various awards and honors' including the Doctoral Fellowship, Wuxi, China. Currently I am work in mycology laboratory and clinical pathology service of UFTM and I am voluntary teacher and a preceptor of the multidisciplinary residency of the biomedicine course in this same university. I have experience in the microbiology and clinical analysis areas, with emphasis on mycology, mainly in the following areas: infectious and parasitic diseases, evaluation of virulence factors, cryptococcosis, candidiasis, antifungal susceptibility tests, identification of filamentous and yeasts fungi by classical and molecular methods, PCR, PCR-RFLP, RAPD, PCR-fingerprinting, phylogenetic analysis and multilocus sequencing typing. She got the Ph.D. degree from Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science Cairo University in 2004. In 2007, she got a post doctor scholarship at Southampton University, United Kingdom. She is an associate professor at National Organization for Drug Control and Research (NODCAR), Egypt. She transfer to work as assistant professor in the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science in King Khalid University KSA from 2010 until 2015, she has been chair of the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, from 2013 tile 2014; she is an associate professor from 2015 until now at king Khalid university. Biochemistry and Anaerobic Microbiology department with Walter G.Niehaus through Egyptian- USA channel system. My thesis title was "Biochemical and Molecular Characterization of Fatty acid synthetase from C.neofrmans. Also, I got personal postdoc. Grant from JSPS of Japan to do post doctoral work in Kumamoto University, Molecular Genetics department on Host lung gene expression response to fungal infection with Fusarium kyshuense. Again, I travelled back to USA, Yale University to carry out training in Biotechnology field, working in Gene knock out from Candida albicans with Brain Woung (Infectious disease department).
I have supervised a large numbers of theses either M.Sc. or Ph.D within different topics inside Mycology.

Dr. Laishram Shantikumar Singh is currently working as Scientist, Microbial Biotechnology at Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Sikkim Centre, DBT, Govt. of India, Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He holds graduate and post graduate degree in Microbiology from Bangalore University, Bengaluru, India and received PhD degree in Microbial Biotechnology from Dibrugarh University, India through research at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam, India. He has worked on many government grant projects. He has received several awards and recognitions for his academic and research achievements, including Group Technology Award 2009 given by DRL, DRDO. Dr. Singh has over 15 years of research experience in the field of Microbiology, Biotechnology, Microbial Bioprospecting, After Ph. D. he has worked at University School of Biotechnology in GGSIP University, Delhi and also at corporate R & D sectors of Tata Tea Research Centre in APPL, Jorhat, Assam. Noah Isakov is the Joseph H. Krupp Professor in Cancer Immunobiology at the Shraga Segal Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics, the Goldman Medical School, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, in Beer Sheva, Israel. His major interest is in signal transduction mechanisms in normal and transformed cells, predominantly in the immune system. He was involved in the discovery and characterization of new signaling molecules in T lymphocytes and continues studying the intricate signaling pathways that regulate T lymphocyte functions and T lymphocyte-mediated immune responses.

Our main research interest focuses on T-cell antigen receptor (TCR)-directed signal transduction pathways in T lymphocytes, as well as a comparative analysis of signal transduction mechanisms in normal versus transformed cells. We aim at identifying and characterizing the mechanism of action of several important effector molecules in T lymphocytes and study their role in the immunological synapse. Among the proteins that we study are protein kinase C theta (PKC?), ZAP-70, Crk and PICOT. PKC? and ZAP-70 are essential for the regulation of T lymphocyte activation and differentiation, are key molecules in the immunological synapse of TCR triggered T cells, and their absence leads to immune deficiencies. The Crk adaptor proteins are involved in the regulation of signaling mechanisms downstream of the TCR, while PICOT, which associates with PKC? in T lymphocytes and was found to be essential for embryonic development is highly expressed in several types of malignancies, including human leukemia, although its exact biological role is still enigmatic.

I am Jazib Ali Irfan from Pakistan. I have completed my postgraduate (MPhil) in Biotechnology from the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), Faisalabad, Pakistan affiliated with the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Sciences (PIEAS), Nilore, Islamabad, Pakistan. My basic postgraduate research is in Plant Genetic Engineering but my theoretical strength is in Biomedical Sciences. I have published several articles in the field of Biomedical Sciences (including human and microbial sciences). I am a writer, adventurer and a thrill lover.

I am interested in diverse fields of research related to human/animal/plant virology, nanobiotechnology, plant genetic engineering, human/animal/plant infectious microbes, and in plant-microbe interaction. I am keenly interested in finding a long-lasting cure of HCV and theoretically it is possible but yet to be proved practically.

Maulin P. Shah, currently Chief Scientist & Head – Industrial Waste Water Research Lab, Division of Applied and Environmental Microbiology Lab at Enviro Technology Ltd., Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India, received his Ph.D. (2002-2005) in Environmental Microbiology from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Godhra, Gujarat University in 2001. He is a Microbial Biotechnologist with diverse research interest. A group of research scholars is working under his guidance on the areas ranging from Applied Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology, Bioremediation, and Industrial Liquid Waste Management to solid state fermentation. My primary interest is the environment, the quality of our living resources and the ways that bacteria can help to manage and degrade toxic wastes and restore environmental health. Consequently, I am very interested in genetic adaptation processes in bacteria, the mechanisms by which they deal with toxic substances, how they react to pollution in general and how we can apply microbial processes in a useful way (like bacterial bioreporters). One of our major interests is to study how bacteria evolve and adapt to use organic pollutants as novel growth substrates. Bacteria with new degradation capabilities are often selected in polluted environments and have accumulated small (mutations) and large genetic changes (transpositions, recombination, and horizontally transferred elements). His work has been focused to assess the impact of industrial pollution on microbial diversity of wastewater following cultivation dependant and cultivation independent analysis. His major work involves isolation, screening, identification and Genetic Engineering of high impact of Microbes for the degradation of hazardous materials. He has more than 200 research publication in highly reputed national and international journals. He directs the Research program at Enviro Technology Ltd., Ankleshwar. He has guided more than 100 Post Graduate students in various disciplines of Life Science. He is an active Editorial Board Member in more than 150 highly reputed Journal’s in the field of Environmental & Biological Sciences. He was Founder Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Environmental Bioremediation and Biodegradation (2012-2014) as well as Journal of Applied and Environmental Microbiology (2012-2014) (Science and Education Publishing, USA). He is also serving as a reviewer in various journals of national and international repute. Recently, he has been awarded as a Young Biotechnologist Medal by Biotechnological Society of Nepal”.
