Mr. Shoukat Ali Shah is currently a Research Scholar. He has completed a Master of Engineering in (Hydraulics and Irrigation Engineering) from the Institute of Water Resources Engineering and Management of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro in 2018 and a Bachelor of Engineering in (Agricultural Engineering) from Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam in 2014. He is a Registered Engineer from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He has good scientific research work in the field of water resources management, agricultural crop assessment, hydrology, remote sensing, climate change, and geography. Currently, He has ten published international research articles and is also working on different scientific projects in the above-mentioned fields.
Mr. Shoukat worked as “Research Coordinator” (2019-2020 ten months) in (US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water) of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro in a project, Government of Sindh, Planning and Development Department, Project Coordination and Monitoring Unit, Water Sector Improvement Project WSIP-AF, project name Calibration of gauges and development of rating curve of 115 minors/distributaries of NARA canal area water board. His main responsibilities were, an inspectional survey of minors/distributaries, installation of gauges, flow measurement/discharge by using River Surveyor/M9/ADCP, current meter, flow probe, meetings with officials/staffs of Irrigation/SIDA, developing a tentative work plan, follow up visits, coordinating with field teams, minutes of the meeting, monthly progress report, and project completing report.
Mr. Shoukat worked as “Junior Engineer” (2017-2018 one year) in Management Development Center (MDC) in Hyderabad in a project name WSIP-1 AF, project (Monitoring & Evaluation) main responsibilities were, taking discharge measurement of selected distributaries & minors on three area water board, Nara canal area water board, Ghotki feeder canal area water board, left bank area water board using current meter, flow probe, cut-throat flume, watercourse surveying, designing & levelling and discharge measurement, seepage losses of minors/distributaries and watercourses, calibration of minors/distributaries, GPS, GIS, mapping, secondary and primary data collection from Irrigation/SIDA offices, meetings with officials and FOs to collect informations about sampled minors/distributaries, installing gauges includes but not limited to support program unit in writing quarterly report writing, expression of interest, technical proposals, inception reports, developing work plan, writing minutes of meeting, organizing. He also fulfills general administrative tasks including printing, photocopy and file maintenance, etc.
Mr. Shoukat worked as a “Research Assistant” ( 2015 five months) in (ICARDA & IWREM of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro) project in Tandobaz Jamshoro his responsibilities included the collection of data of irrigation water application, checking the system of sprinkler & drip irrigation during application of water to the field and writing a quarterly report and project completion report, etc.
Mr. Shoukat worked as “Event Manager” (2013-2013 one year) in Fast Youth Network Development (FYND) in Hyderabad. His main responsibilities were to conduct social events, administration work, program management, making reports, and record of the programs.

I have significant experience in dealing with strategic direction and management in the field of Fisheries and Aquaculture, but also comprehensive knowledge. My work experience is as a “Master Trainer” in the Department of Sindh Fisheries.
With Master’s Degree in Fresh Water Biology, currently enrolled as Ph.D. Scholar Fresh Water Biology, Miss Maryam Sheikh over 7 years of professional experience in Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources Management, Fisheries Trainings and Developments in whole Sindh, with Project Departments include district functionaries’ representatives. My working is to give strength in people, doing in team work & struggle to achieve a target, which provides more opportunities of development. Executive and middle level experience both in Development work & Effective coordination with Project Departments include district functionaries, local government representatives.

I want to share my research and scientific information throughout the world via a research community. I have a great knowledge in the agriculture and aquaculture working field and I worked hard a lot longer time on it.

Debajit Kalita pursued B. Sc. (Botany) from Guwahati University, M.Sc. (Microbiology) from Bangalore University, Karnataka and Ph.D. (Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics) from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya. He had also completed post graduate diploma in environmental management (PGDEM) from Tezpur University, Certificate in Industrial Disaster Management from CUHK, Hong Kong and Managing health and safety in science laboratory from HSA, Ireland.
Application wise, has more than 10 years of research experiences in microbiology, having work on biofuel production. He has also experience in handling of BSL 2 level handling pathogenic strains of bacteria and fungi. During his research tenure, more than 15 research papers, book chapters, conferences (national and international) and patents is credited to Dr. Kalita. He is also an invited reviewer of many reputed international journals published by springers, Elsevier, SAGE, BioMed etc. He is holding post of editorial board members of various reputed journals published from USA, India, Germany, Australia, China, Canada etc. Members of global advisory group of Nanotechnology of SETAC (USA) are adding value to Dr. Kalita. Was an organising member of International conference on Nanotechnology jointly organized by Sustainable Nanotechnology Organization (SNO, USA) and Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU, Assam). Dr. Kalita also was a moderator and organizing team members of Asia Pacific Space Generation Workshop (APSGW), supported and catalysed by United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) at Singapore 2018. Representing India official delegate in Asia Pacific Regional Space Forum (APRSF), 2018.
Dr. Kalita is honoured by fellow member Academy of Environment and Life Science and Early career scientist, international distinguished scientist awardee. He is the life member of various international scientific societies such as Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC, USA), Society for Biotechnologist, Spanish Society of Microbiology, European nanoscience and Nanotechnology Association (ENNA, Germany), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), The international Society of Subsurface Microbiology (USA).

Mr. Shokri Omar Mustafa is a PhD candidate in Fish Nutrition at Firat University in Turkey. He had his BSc. degree in Animal Resources from Mosul University in 1994, Iraq then earned MSc. degree in 2012 from Queensland University, Australia in Animal Studies with high distinction. He was appointed Nutritionist and the Head of Fish Resources Department since 1994 till now. He is also the president of fish resources Association in Iraqi Kurdistan. He has more than 5 papers in the field Poultry Nutrition, Fish Nutrition, Management and supervised more than 150 Poultry and fish Farm in Duhok Provinces, Iraqi Kurdistan, Turkey, Australia and Malaysia. Ultimately, he has more than 25 years experience in different sectors.

Mr. Shokri Omar Mustafa research interests are Department of Fish Resources, Nutrition, fishery and Poultry Department i.e Feed Formula, Farm Management, Cage fish culture, RAS, Trout Salmon fish farm, Fish and poultry Nutrition and Nutritional and biotechnology.

Dr. N. Shanthi is the Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of Botany, Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai, India. She has one decade of Post Graduate teaching and Research experience in the field of Stress Physiology. She has completed one research project. She has signed an MOU in 2018 with SynkroMax Biotech Pvt Ltd., Chennai, for research and exchange of faculty and research scholars. She has published 1 books and 25 papers in national and international journals. She is a reviewer for many international journals. She has also presented the paper at the International conference in Malaysia and Singapore.Recently She has received Outstanding Scientist Award for Initiatives, Discoveries, and Developments in the discipline of Botany from Venus International Foundation, Chennai and Distinguish professor awards from AIMIST University, Kedah, Malaysia.

Dr safdar Bashir is Assistant professor at University of Agriculture Faisalabad Sub campus Depalpur Okara. He has PhD from Germany and postdoc from Australia. He is a Soil scientist with the expertise in Isotope Biogeochemistry and environmental contamination. His research primarily focuses on the transport and transformation of xenobiotics at various Geochemical interfaces using integrated approaches i.e. the use of Molecular biology, microbial cultivation, metabolite analysis and isotopic techniques to understand the fate of xenobiotics. At university of Agriculture Faisalabad, he is mainly working on the development of sustainable and efficient bio Nano-fertilizers. He is review editor of Frontier’s in Environmental Sciences and member of American Geophysical Union and soil science society of Pakistan.

Professor Guoqin Huang obtained his PhD from Nanjing Agricultural University and his postdoctoral certificate from Nanjing Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He visited University of Georgia (USA), University of York (UK), Australia, and New Zealand, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and other countries and regions as a visiting scholar and a senior visiting scholar.
Currently he is the chief professor and director of the Research Center on Ecological Sciences at Jiangxi Agricultural University. He is also the executive director of the Chinese Society of Ecology and the Chinese Society of Ecological Economics, and the director of the Ecological Economics Association and the Ecological Sciences Association in Jiangxi Province.
He is a recognized expert in farming systems, agroecology, and sustainable development of agriculture. He has published more than 80 books and more than 600 papers.

Dr. Ankita Awasthi, 28-year-old, is an Assistant professor at A.N.D. College, Kanpur, India. She received her Master degree and Ph.D. in Zoology in 2012 and 2019, respectively. During her research period, she was focused on developing environmentally safe biopesticides which are inherently less harmful and less environmental load, designed to affect only one specific pest or in some cases a few target organisms and often effective in very small quantities and often decompose quickly, thereby resulting in lower exposures and largely avoiding the pollution problems. She worked to develop effective pest control mechanism by using Indian medicinal plants as biopesticides. She also worked to increase the qualitative and quantitative production of tomato crop. After that she worked to found the active chemicals of those medicinal plants. For her innovative research, she awarded with Blue Planet Scholar Award and Young Scientist Award by Blue Planet Society India, Young achiever award by Institute of Scholar and Chaudhary Charan Singh award for agricultural innovation by Glocal environment and social association.

Vikram Kumar received his Bachelors in Civil Engineering. He obtained his degree Masters of Technology in "Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering" with honors and completed his Doctorate in Hydrology. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering department at Gaya Engineering College, Gaya- India. Kumar has also received a young researcher award and many others in this year.

Dr. Mohammad Auyoub Bhat is presently working as Senior Scientist in the Division of Soil Science at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir. He obtained his bachelors in Agriculture in 1999 from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, masters in Soil Science from Narendra Deva University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and doctorate in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University. Dr. Shaon Kumar Das is working as a Scientist SS (Agricultural Chemistry) at ICAR-National Organic Farming Research Institute, Gangtok, Sikkim under ICAR. He did his M.Sc. in 2010 from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi with gold medal for his outstanding contribution. Then he joined in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in 2011 as scientist. Dr. Das is a regular member of the Society of Pesticide Science, Association of Agrometeorologists, International Journal of Bio-resource and Stress Management and Indian society of soil science. He has published 25 national and 21 international research articles, 10 review articles in national and International journals, 25 popular article, 23 extension folder, 2 books, 22 book chapters in edited books. He is a regular reviewer of many International journals and also a member of the editorial board. He got DST-INSPIRE fellowship in 2010. He has been awarded the Young Scientist award by 5th faculty branding award of education expo TV in 2017 and also by society for scientific development in agriculture and technology in 2017. He also got 2 best oral presentation awards. Several invited talk delivered by him. Now he has 3 institute projects as PI, 10 as Co-PI and 2 as Co-PI in DST project. He has been involved in the research on carbon sequestration, soil fertility management, soil acidity reclamation, organic nutrient standardization of major hill crops. Currently he is working on characterization of biochar and their application on soil for management of soil health.

Dr Gopal Dixit is working as Head of Botany department and Centre of Research in Ethnobotany in Upadhi PG College (MJP Rohilkhand University), Pilibhit, India. He is mentoring and teaching Botany & Environmental Science from last 25 years and guiding students in the completion of their projects/ dissertations. He is actively engaged in research activities specially on Plant Physiology, Pathology, Biochemistry and  Ecology n Environment etc. along with Ethnobotany of  Indo- Nepal sub Himalayan terai region of  Rohilkhand division of UP state of India. He has published more than 50 research papers in  peer  reviewed and indexed  journals of National and International repute. He is serving as Associate Editor, Editorial board member, reviewer in various journals. Dr Dixit is performing challenging responsibilities as a Chairman of the International Board of Ethnomedicobotany and also as Faculty in the World Academy of Medical Sciences (WAMS). He is a founder President of an NGO “ Environment Conservation Organisation “( ECO). His major fields of research are:
(A).Effect of fertilizer factory wastes on biological and root-knot disease parameters in different cultivars of Tomato and other vegetables. The suitability and efficacy of certain concentrations of fertilizer wastes has been evaluated both at lab and field trials to establish non- chemical practices for root-knot disease caused by Nematodes.
(B).Possible + ve and – ve  role of various Bio Chemicals, present in crop plants, in root- knot disease control has also been  done on Carbohydrates, Proteins, Amino Acids and Phenols.
(C). “Ethnobotany  in the welfare of living beings” is one of the other major research aspect which deals with enumeration of locally growing wild plants used by tribal and rural people living in the vicinity of  Pilibhit Tiger Reseve.
Compilation of details about plants and their parts being used in Contact/ Touch therapy by tribals and other forest dwellers is under the process.    

Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh is Associate Professor and Head of Horticulture Department in Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab (India). He has guided eleven students as advisor and more than 20 students as co-advisor in three and half year of research. He has published nearly 37 research and review papers in indexed (NAAS or Scopus) journals such as, Journal of Environmental Biology, Annals of Biology, Carpathian Journal of Food Science and Technology, Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, International Journal of Chemical Studies, Journal of Crop and Weeds, etc. He is also serving as Editorial board member and reviewer of many journals. The research area has been elaborated below:

1. Economic feasibility of Intercropping in fruit crops: Intercropping of vegetable crops viz. Colocassia, Amorphophalus, Turmeric, Okra, French bean, Cauliflower, Brinjal etc. under plantation of guava, aonla and kinnow plantations has been evaluated. The economic feasibility and suitability of these vegetable crops as intercrop has been endorsed under field trial to generate additional income from orchards.
2. Postharvest handling and management fruit crops: Postharvest physiology of various fruit crops viz. Zizyphus mauritiana Lamk., kinnow mandarin and litchi has been investigated under application of plant extracts, packaging and fruit juice preservation.
3. Biofertilizer application and INM practices in horticultural crops: Role of biofertilizers and minerals have been evaluated in potato under field trial for standardization of INM composition under Punjab condition. Specific emphasis was given to nitrate accumulation in tubers.

Dhruba Bijaya GC, Ph.D. is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Tribhuvan University, Instittue of Forestry, Pokhara Campus, Pokhara, Nepal. He is an undergraduate in Forestry Science from the same university where he currently works. In 2009, he moved to China and studied his M.Sc. from China Agricultural University and completed it in 2011. His major for Ph.D is Natural Resource Science which he obtained from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016. He likes research and teaching. He has published several different articles in indexed journals nationally and internationally. He voluntarily works as an editorial board of many national and international journals too. Also he has supervised around 20 students as advisor and co-advisor of undergraduate and post graduates at his university till date. He specialized on forestry and forestry related subjects. He has an ample knowledge on forest ecology and silviculture, biodiversity and forest conservation, climate change, forest governance, grassland management, rural development issues specially focusing on the developing countries like Nepal and somewhat India and China. His research interests include covers but not limited to: forest ecology and silviculture, biodiversity and forest conservation, plant pathology and entomology, grassland and mountain areas, somewhat related to climate change and rural development issues in the developing countries.

I am interested in applications of geospatial techniques (remote sensing, GIS, GPS) and modeling (spatial and statistical molding) in the following items: Soil survey, Geomorphology and mapping, land degradation, soil improvement, land Resources evaluation; Land Capability, Land Suitability, land use planning, environmental hazard assessment, change detection, soil fertility, crop monitoring, yield prediction, and crop and soil management, climate impacts on agriculture and soil properties.

Dimitar P. Karaivanov had his M.Sc. degree in “Handling and Building Machines and Systems” from Technical University – Sofia, Bulgaria in 1983. He Served as Engineer-designer and Head of the Lifting Equipment Group at the Design Department of KEM “6th of September”, Sofia, Bulgaria (electrical forklifts plant). His pedagogic work started in 1985 in University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) – Sofia, Bulgaria where he served to nowadays. In UCTM he had his Dr. (PhD) degree (in 2000) and Professor (Docent) rank (in 2002) in “Machinery and Machine Elements”. Esam Mahmoud had his BSc. degree in Soil science from Mosul University 1977, IRAQ and then earned MSc. Degree in soil physics 1984 from Salah-AL-Deen University and Ph.D. in modelling of water flow through soil 2000 from Mosul University. He was appointed Lecturer of the Foundation of Technical Institutes 1978-1985 and Assistance Prof. from 1986 till now. Mr. Esam Mahmoud research interests are soil physics, modelling of water and solute flow through porous media by programming with FORTRAN computer language or with GUI programs like HYDRUS, Geostudio software, his main concern is modelling water infiltration, evaporation, salt movement and drip irrigation especially in arid areas. He is capable of simulating of crop production with or without drought, salinity and other growth factors by using AquaCrop software. Also simulation some soil phenomena like temperature and hydraulic properties using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Time series.

Dr. Jaimin Pandya is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology in N.M. College of Agriculture (NMCA) at Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) since March 2013. Dr. Pandya had completed his graduation, post graduation and doctorate from the NMCA, NAU, Navsari, Gujarat, India. Dr. Sanjeev Sangami is a Associate Professor, in Civil Engineering Department, Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi. He received his M. tech from NITK Surathkal in 2010 and Ph.D in 2018 from NITK Surathkal. Dr El Baroudy received the degrees of B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from The University of Tanta in 1996 and 2000, Egypt. Currently, he is a Professor and head of Soil in the Soil and Water Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University. His research activities are mainly concerned with pedology, soil degradation, desertification, land evaluation, remote sensing and GIS modeling. He has published widely in Soil Science, having authored 38 refereed and conference papers. Dr El Baroudy has jointly supervised ten M.Sc. and seven Ph.D. theses to completion. He has conducted postdoctoral research at Córdoba University, Spain. He is a member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Environmental Monitoring and Analysis (IJEMA), Journal of Agriculture Food and Development and the Comprehensive Research Journal of Agricultural Science (CRJAS). I am an Associate Professor in the Cilimli Vocational School at the University of Duzce where I have been a faculty member since 2010. I have completed my PhD in 2009 related with plant genetics at Marmara University in Istanbul-Turkey.

My research interests lie in the area of plant science, ranging from theoretical application to wet-lab studies. My other areas of interest include plant stress physiology and biodiversity studies. In wet-lab studies, I have studied the effects of the abiotic stress conditions on plants, including drought, salinity, cold, and heavy metal stresses. The gene expression levels of some important gene families were investigated by using RT-PCR applications. Also, genetic diversity analyses were performed in plants by using molecular marker methods, such as AFLP, ISSR, and SSR. The phylogenetic analyses were made using nuclear and chloroplast sequences, especially nuclear ITS and chloroplast trnL-F, matK, and rbcL regions.

In recent years, I have focused on bioinformatics applications in plant genomes. I have mined gene members in plant genomes and comparative analyses were performed among plant species. Also, 3D protein modeling, gene co-expression network, protein-protein interaction (PPIs), in silico gene expression profiles, and protein docking were performed.

Awaad M. H. H. had his BSc. degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cairo University in 1968, Egypt and then earned MVSc. and PhD degrees in 1972 and 1975 respectively in Poultry Diseases from Cairo University. Hayder Haraty had his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Architecture from the University of Technology in 2006, Baghdad. After the Graduation, Hayder engaged in various architectural projects in public and private sectors. He pursued his Master’s degree in 2013 at Universiti Putra Malaysia. His master degree thesis studied the typology of the Iraqi traditional courtyard house as functional spaces in low-rise residential units. In 2016, Hayder initiated his doctorate study at Universiti Putra Malaysia. His Ph.D. dissertation concerned the design of ablution space and their cleaning assessment from architectural perception. Dr. V. K. Khanna graduated from Delhi University and did his M.Sc and PhD from Haryana Agricultural University in Genetics, followed by Post Doctorate, CSIR. He joined as an Assistant Professor at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and worked there for nearly 30 years. He has more than 39 years of experience of teaching and conducting research on Wide-hybridization, Genetics and Biotechnology. He has guided 76 M.Sc and Ph.D theses and published 164 research papers in Indian and Foreign Journals of repute. He has also presented 193 research papers in Conferences/Symposia/Workshops in India and abroad, a few of them being Lead Papers including a Key-note address in an International Conference. Dr M L Dotaniya, Scientist at ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed Mustard Research, Bharatpur, India under the umbrella of ICAR, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GOI. He has completed his bachelor degree from the SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner, Rajasthan. After that master degree in Soil Science (Ag) from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar as a Junior Research Fellow; Ph. D. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry from ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi as a CSIR Research scholar. Dr Dotaniya worked in his academic mostly on soil fertility aspect, i.e. Management of N and K in Indo-Gangatic plain of India by application of crop residue management; use of sugarcane waste material for minimizing/ enhancing the P use efficiency soils. After that, he selected for the Scientist post through the ASRB and joined the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad on April, 2010. After this I served more than 8 years at Division of Environmental Soil Science, ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal as a scientist (senior scale). Presently, Dr Dotaniya, Scientist at ICAR-DRMR, Bharatpur and working in the Crop Production Unit having the responsibility to create a database on the extent of soil pollution due to indiscriminate use of fertilizers, city, industrial and agricultural wastes for crop production and to develop suitable prescriptions and technologies for safe recycling of these wastes into agriculturally productive soils. The division is also engaged in determining baseline concentration of heavy metals for delineating contaminated areas, evaluating sink capacity of soils for heavy metal pollutants, developing technologies for remediation of polluted soils, developing technologies for safe use of different waste material in agriculture, developing soil management practices for minimizing emission of greenhouse gases, and studying impact and risk assessment of nano-particles on soil health and plant nutrition. He is mainly focused on heavy metals pollution and their remediation options. Developed Geo-accumulation index for tannery irrigated fields, metal toxicity limits in sewage irrigated lands, evaluation of multi-metal toxicity in crop plants. Dr. Reyazul Rouf Mir, Assistant professor in the Division of Plant Breeding & Genetics at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has more than 10 years of research experience. He has a longstanding engagement in research in the area of applied genomics of Jute, wheat, and legumes like chickpea, common bean, pigeonpea and groundnut. Dr. Mir has significantly contributed for the development of different types of molecular markers (in jute), bi-parental mapping populations for gene discovery, QTL/gene discovery for important targeted traits (in jute, wheat, pigeonpea, common bean and groundnut) and their use in marker-assisted selection programs (in wheat). Development of improved lines with superior quality traits in wheat through marker-assisted selection (MAS) programs. Dr. Mir has contributed significantly in the development of physical map in chickpea. He has also worked for one year at UC-Davis and contributed significantly in characterizing chickpea wild germplasm for variety of traits and developing wild × cultivated introgression population and in identification/cloning of genes for flowering time and nodulation. My current research programs involve the study of common bean biodiversity, gene pools, gene discovery for key nutritional traits in legumes and cereals and breeding for disease resistance.

I have been working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Sciences, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal, Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan since December 2016. Recently, I have also been selected as an Adjunct Research Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences, The University of Western Australia, Australia. Earlier, I worked on the same post at Department of Environmental Sciences, PMAS, Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan (10-03-2015 to 09-03-2016). I got my PhD in 2015 from Institute of Soil and Environmental Sciences, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan, under the kind supervision of Late Dr. Muhammad Arshad, A great Soil Microbiologist and Initiator of Biofertilizer Research in Pakistan. During my PhD, I have worked on “Sustainable phosphorus nutrition of legumes using rock phosphate enriched compost and phosphate solubilizing bacteria”. During my PhD, I have been to School of Plant Biology, The University of Western Australia, Australia and worked with a world renewed plant scientists Prof. Hans Lambers and Patrick Finnegan. I am also currently engaged in close collaboration with both of these scientists. I have also worked on water testing laboratory during my internship at Ayub Agricultural research Institute (AARI), Faisalabad.

Dr. Md. Saiful Islamis an Associate Professor of the Department of Soil Science, Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Dumki, Patuakhali-8602, Bangladesh.He obtained B.Sc.Ag.(Hon.) and M Sc (Ag) in Soil Sciencefrom Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), securing Eightposition in the First Class in B.Sc.Ag. (Hon.) and Firstposition in the First Classin MSc (Ag) in Soil Science in order of merit. In March 1, 2007 he joined as a lecturer ofthe Department of Soil Science, PSTU, Bangladeshand became as an Assistant and Associate Professor in 2009 and 2014, respectively. Md. Saiful Islam went to Yokohama National University, Japan in 2010 with Japanese Government Scholarship (Monbusho), where he obtained his PhD (2014) in Environmental Science under the supervision of Professor Dr. Shigeki Masunaga in the Laboratory of Environmental Risk Management. HisPhD theses were involved in understanding trace metals in different environmental media (soil, sediment, water and foodstuffs) where ecological and health risks wereassessed based on the concentrations of trace metals and exposure to humans.Dr. Islam has awarded as “Visiting Fellowship Award” by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) from the government of Japan (October, 2016–January, 2017) at Yokohama National University (YNU), Japan. He has also awarded a fellowship (2018–2020) from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) to work on ‘Epigenetic andpost-transcriptional regulation of nutrient transport’ at the University of Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Islam’s research interests are epigenetic and post-transcriptional regulation of nutrient transport in plants, development of metals resistant plant varieties and identification of arsenic detoxification mechanism in rice plants, concentrated biogeochemical cycling of phosphorous (P) and trace metals in soil, humic acid modified nano-hydroxyapatite and vanadium (V)-doped birnessites (nanotechnology) for trace metals scavenging from the environment, in trace metals especially environmental toxicology, emerging pollutants in the environment and sustainable development, Chemical speciation and bioavailability of trace metals, organic pollutants and various toxic chemicals in the environment for sustainable management, human health and ecological risk assessment.

Prof. Mahmoud Hozayn, born on 9 September of 1969, is an Egyptian by birth and the current professor in Department of Field Crops Research, Division of Agricultural and Biological Research, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. He obtained Bachelor of agriculture science (BSc; Agronomy) with very good honor degree in 1991 from Assuit University and awarded Master and Doctoral thesis's (Agronomy) from Cairo University in 1998 and 2003, respectively. He was awarded the best scientific publishing prize in 2012, 2013 and 2014 from National Research Centre. Headed the Statistical Consulting Unit for five years (2005-2010), organized and teach more than 40 training courses, workshop and seminars in field of applied statistic for MSc and PhD students at Training and Capacity Development Center, NRC. Attendance and participation of many national/international conferences and training courses in (Egypt - China - London - Cambridge - Austria - Germany - Hungary - Turkey - Kuwait - Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Oman. Supervisor for three MSc and PhD students and guided many students to conduct statistical analysis of their data. Prof Hozayn, current PI for two national projects (related to improving water and crop productivity under salinity stress) and as PI, Co-PI and team research work has successfully implemented and completed 37 inside research project funded by NRC. I am assisted in the taxonomic description of a new species of cuttle-fish Sepia ramani and Sepia prabahari for the first time from world waters.
